For the final tune, Le Canal En Octobre, I was joined by many friends from near and far. Thank you all for your participation, it was a very special evening.
This concert is a culmination of my final year’s work at Hampshire College. My love of traditional fiddle music, jazz, and improvisation was fostered throughout my time here, and I wanted an opportunity to combine all that music in a concert setting. By bringing together great friends from a variety of musical backgrounds, the result is a union of the musical traditions and of the musicians themselves.
Warmest Thanks To:
My friends who have graciously poured their time and souls into this music. My family. Becky Miller, Marty Ehrlich, Larry Berger. Enfield 57 and 50, 79 Hawley St., Yodog, Dan Baker-Smith, Julia Plumb, and Maine Fiddle Camp. Thanks to all the musicians in my life, all the kitchens and basements and dance halls we’ve played in and all the banjos and guitars and fiddles we’ve played.
